Default 07 Tahoe Nav Radio Problem

Ok this might sound like a dumb question for everyone, but I have been trying to figure out how to get my nav radio to display the clock. The touch screen button at the top of the screen disapeared. Also when I turn of the radio it no longer displays the clock but justa blank screen. I read the radio manual from fron to back and nothing about getting the clock to display again. All it say is how to program it which I can't even do because all it says in the manual is to access it from the touch screen button which is not there... Could someone please help. I dont want to have to feel like an idiot and take it to the dealer for my stupidity but its driving me nuts.

Default RE: 07 Tahoe Nav Radio Problem

Others have solved this problem by taking a MP3 CD out of the player. Also I think there is a software fix but not sure.
