biglg and Roger C Hooker Jr,

Read my post here and look out for the update tomorrow and Friday. You can get the OEM factory set up for around $250 for all of the parts. Check it out: https://chevroletforum.com/m_5604/mp..._/tm.htm#14680 Post #83

I think I have this figured out with the exception of the wiring from the camera, to the module, to the HU.

Where and what part numbers amd I looking for the wiring? Could the module then be placed behind the HU or maybe in the rear hatch door?
I should have these part numbers posted here Friday 12/1. My parts guy had to call GM to order them and is having them couriered over to the install shop. I'll have paperwork at that point to get the numbers. AND, I'll let you know how the install goes later on in the evening.

Just to recap this will be installing an OEM back-up camera in a Yukon that WAS NOT pre-wired at the factory. This will be all of the factory parts, plug and play, after the fact.

I'll keep ya' posted.

Is it really that easy? I've made two phone calls (left message with receptionist for both), and sent two email to purchase the iConnect for GM. Not one response. I have a fleet of trucks for this product and can't get any correspondence.

Seriously though, and I'm really not trying to be a smart *** either. I just don't understand how you do business without communicating. And if it's just because I'm not a dealership, why would you not want to deal with an end user every now and then? Especially one that works for NBC/Universal Studios, whom comes in contact with countless celebrities on a day to day basis, not to mention all of the studio laborers that all pull 6 figures per year, AND all love their iPods, and would love an interface like this in their vehicles. But I'm just saying though. Sometimes you have to move away from the "script" and ad lib. In the entertainment business when one person has the latest "gadget" everyone else wants it and money usually isn't a factor.

Just my opinion.

I don't expect to hear from them at all now after writing this, but it's fine. Another company will come out with a similar product (some are already out there) and will get all of the studio's business.

It's too late, I bought it through JP Customs, who I'm sure gets it from you and marks it up a bit. Don't know how no one could have heard from me. Left email and phone messages. What's done is done now. Would have liked to work a deal out directly. I'll see how I like the unit before I do a mass purchase.
