2" Leveling Kit Installed - QUESTION
I just had a SkyJacker kit installed. Now the front seems a bit higher than the rear (maybe 1/4 inch) and is probably only noticeable by me... will this eventually level out? If not, it still looks sweet, and gave my front end the lift I needed.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Yeah at first it will look like the front is much taller but you will see that it really isn't. Probably give it time to break in. Do your front tires look like they are bowed in? I can't tell if mine are or not just looking at the wear on the tires to see if it is.
I just had the tires put on an hour ago... Will give it a good look when I get home later... I'll let you know.
I called Skyjacker and they claim it will level out on its own... I'm just a stickler for details, so I'm probably the only one who will notice it.

**FOLLOW UP**
My guy in the service department looked at the slight bow. He then checked the alignment numbers from yesterday and said they were near perfect. He claimed a few things: 1. We see the slight bow due to more tire being exposed due to bigger size AND 2" worth of lift... He showed me the front end of a new Suburban with 20" wheels (no leveling kit) and they had a slight bow as well, and 2. He said although they appear to be bowed a bit, they will wear normally due to the near perfect front-end alignment. He told me to come back in 800 miles and he would recheck. He also said he would buy new tires for me if he was wrong... He was the svs. dept. mgr, so I said ok... we'll see.

I am surprised he told you he would replace the tires for you eventhough you messed with the suspension.

He even installed the leveling kit for me and guaranteed his work. He adjusted my lights and speedometer at no cost... I paid for the labor and the alignment. I'm very pleased with my local GM service department...
I bought BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO...285/55/20... I've always had these on my 4x4's and get anywhere from 50k - 60k miles per set.
I'm very pleased with the mods I've made so far... When I have a moment, I'll snap a few photos. The exhaust is next... Custom job, magnaflow muffler... $269.00... can't beat that price...
Sounds good Frisco, you are right you can't beat that price. I got mine for 240 at those prices you can't compare buying the full system at 600. Look forward to seeing those pics.
