Hey everyone,

I'm trying to help a friend who just purchased a 2000 (11/99) Yukon Denali. The 2nd row has the 40/60 split bench (leather). The 40 side works perfectly. The 60 side, the bottom seat will not come up.

Pulling the strap to release the latch does not do anything. It does not seem to move at all, so I fear the latch is rusted or otherwise stuck. With the way this seat is made, I cannot figure out any way to get to the latch, or even take the seat out. I tried spraying some WD40 down the slit where the webbing strap comes thru the seat, but this has not helped either.

Any advise?
