2001 Tahoe Front End Rattle Wobble ...
Hello I just bought a 2001 Tahoe. Beautiful car drives great but One thing concerns me. When I go over a bump or bumps the whole front end seemd to rattle or wobble and I feel it mostly in the steering wheel. I have seen some posts about a defective steering shaft on the '01's but didnt seem to fit my symptoms exactly. It is even more noticeable when I hit a bump with only one front tire... just feels like for a second everything in the suspensionrattles.... Sound familiar to anyone? Thanks for any info - Joe

Have the intermediate shaft coupling checked. My daughter's 2004 Z71 had the same symptoms and that's what it was.

I had the same thing in my 03 hoe. Sounded like it was coming from the front left wheel. It was exactly what Shark said it was.
