Default 2002 Chevy Tahoe High Voltage Issue

I have a 2002 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 Flex, 290,000 miles. I’m having an issue with the voltage being too high. I was driving and burned up an alternator so I replaced it along with putting in a new battery. Driving and going over 3,000 rpm’s will cause the voltage meter to fluctuate. I’ve looked over all my ground cables and haven’t seen any issues.

Does anyone e have an idea or solution?

Reman replacement? Most rebuilds are junk. New ones only.

Rebuilt alternators are not reliable, only a couple companies in the country do rebuilt ones anymore and for many brands and many reports of not getting good ones. Many places like Rock Auto sell new ones for the same money or less.
