Default 2003 Tahoe not starting

I have been working on my wife's 2003 Tahoe for approximately two weeks now.One morning it just wouldn't start, about two weeks prior to that the vehicle wouldn't start and we put it in neutral and it started fine and it's been working fine until two weeks ago. I assumed it was the neutral safety switch so I replace that but that didn't solve the problem and still wouldn't start. I checked all the fuses and all the relays and all of those were fine. Next step was to check the starter, I dropped the starter and took it into Advanced Auto and had it checked and the starter was good. They suggested replacing the ignition starter switch so we purchased a new ignition switch. After setting the gear wheel on the ignition switch and installing it the vehicle it still wouldn't start so I pulled the ignition switch back out readjusted the gear wheel on the switch and put it back in, after doing that the vehicle started only in neutral, not park. The next day when I tried to started again it wouldn't start no clicking, no noise whatsoever. After several weeks of trying to figure this out I ran out of options so if anyone here can suggest anything that help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Nick

Default start

Hey

I would try turning the key in the start position and while you are trying to start it, try moving the shifter or shaking it around, I would be interested to see if anything happened while you are trying to start it move the shift closer to park and shake it around a bit also shake the ignition switch around a bit while trying to start.

Please post after you try this.

Wont hurt anything to try this.

Just be sure you have the E brake set and the brakes are on.
