Default 2004 Suburban Dome and Map Lights not working.

Ok so I'm going a little crazy here. I recently bought an 04 suburban and it was missing the center dome light and the map lights don't work. So naturally i figured some has already tried fixing this before considering they pulled the light out and didn't replace it. Used my multimeter got no voltage at the center dome light harness. So I decided to get a new dome light and chase it down after that. I get the new light started checking fuses checked all the three tbc fuses. All good. I've checked every fuse in this suburban they are all good. I just can't get any voltage to the dome light. There rear dome lights works fine and so does the over ride switch.

If the center dome light has only one wire supplying power to it , the body of the light may have no ground.
Does it have more than one wire going to it?

It's a two wire clip and there was no voltage.

You need a shop manual with the wiring diagrams that show all the color coding of the harness to trace it down properly along with a good meter.
