Wonder how they justify a fully decked out Tahoe to the taxpayers. We use state bid vehicles equipped for fire/police and they definitely don't come with leather and Navigation. Pretty irresponsible IMO.

The Rescue units are cool but the ones that I like are the PPV Police Package units.
137mph top speed.

I don't know if I would want to go 137 mph in a Tahoe...probably hard to get stopped if something ran out in front of you

That's why you get a really tough brush guard! (Kidding of course....) I'm sure the LE folks that get to drive the 137 MPH Tahoes don't mind knowing they could go that fast if they needed to.

The fastest I have ever gone is 100 mph, in a brand new crown vic. Did it just to see if it could do it. I don't see doing 137 in a Tahoe EVER. I am looking to get one for work too now! Both versions are on state bid.
