Default 2007 OEM NAVIGATION HEAD UNIT ?'S

I got my oem navigation unit put in my 07 tahoe. I had the dealer program it. I havent driven it much since it was installed. However, it seems to me that I dont have as much bass or mids as I had prior with the cd/dvd non nav unit? I have changed the bass, mid, and treble and it still doesnt seem the same. Especially on FM, very little bass from the sub! Anyone else had this issue?

Lastly, when you change the volume of the unit, either by the ****, or steering wheel there isnt a bar or number that shows exactly where the Volume is at. Is this how everyones navigation unit is, or is there a setting I can change to show the volume level?

Thanks.

Most people can tell when the volume is just right without having to look at a bar graph, it's a hell of a skill to master though and I realize that.

Yeah definitely no visual volume reference. On your audio problem, I just think it's real buggy and probably a software problem. I've noticed that once I unplugged the head unit and plugged it back in that the sound would change. I think it's due to the amp not firing up. I toggled the bass level and it kicked back in.

Damn, my cd/dvd unit had a graph that showed the volume position. I simply asked if the navigation unit had this? If so why wasnt it showing up.
