Default 2007 Suburban 2500 6.0 4L80E top bell housing bolt

Having to change out my failed 4L80E transmission. How do you access the top center bell housing bolt? Is there a trick to putting the vent tube bracket back on it? Terribly tight quarters. All help is greatly appreciated!!

with trans mount out and the trans supported by a t rans jack....lower the trans so it tilts down at the back. This will allow you to access the bolts with a long extension. I use a tranny extension made for just that job...1/2 end for the impact but 3/8 on other end for more access with a smaller socket

Thanks for the reply. I can get the bolts off. How do I get the bracket back on the stud? I can't reach anywhere near the bolt. There is even a body lip in the way. This is with it dropped all the way down. I can about come as close to reaching it from the top, but still no real luck.

magnetic socket or masking tape on the bolt head to hold it to the socket....with the extension push it thru the bracket and lift in place...thats how i do it but im using a hoist...not on the ground in a driveway.

Thanks. I'll try rigging it up. No driveway here. Nice shop, but lower ceilings and no luxury of a lift. Just good ole jack and stands. Appreciate the guidance.
