2007 Tahoe Oil Change
What oil and filter are used in Chevy dealerships? That is, I am looking for the brand. I am thinking of having it changed for the first time at 1600 miles when I take in to replace my cd changer and rear window trims. Although, I am scared based on previous posts about hood dings.

AC PF-48 oil filter. Not sure about oil, probably varies at each dealership.
I found that by pulling the hood down slowly about two-thirds of the way and then using the palm of my hand, push it rapidly down to latch it. Seems to work and no dents yet.
