Just had a look at my 2008 3/4 ton Suburban that I owned from new. It has L shaped plates welded to the frame. It came from the factory like that. I’ll try get some pics.

Here is a pic of my 2008 3/4 ton Suburban frame

showing where the reinforcement plate is welded to the frame. This taken looking up at it. You can make out the bottom and as it wraps around the corner the weld beads blend into the steel of the frame. This is from the factory.

For the last shot I pulled back the plastic fender liner and took a shot of where the stabilizer bar makes its bend.

Default Sway bar mount repair kits

I have made and installed a few of these now and it takes a competent welder about 1 to 1 1/2 hours per side to install. Once installed and painted these look almost factory. Here are some pictures of them installed and painted.

FYI, GM actually makes repair brackets/mounts for this issue that are about $16/ea.

PN Description
84037074 Bracket – Drivetrain & Frt Susp Frm Stab (Left Hand)
84037075 Bracket – Drivetrain & Frt Susp Frm Stab (Right Hand)

And then if you want to put new OEM bolts in...

Default You have these available for sale?

I am currently going through the same thing mentioned in this post. My sway bar mount has broken free from rust.

if you still have these available for sale, how much do they run? Would be shipped to 07436.
do they come with a template or measurements for cutting?

Thanks,

James
