Default 2008 Suburban Side Mirrors

Passenger side mirror only moves left & right, currently stuck in down position from backing up. Driver side mirror only moves left or right. Going to check the fuses after work. Also, as of 2 days ago, passenger side mirror sometimes folds in electronically & sometimes it doesn't. I manually fold it in and it will unfold unelectronically. Anyone had this issue? If so, is there an option before buying new mirrors.

Welcome to the forum.

I always recommend leaving the reverse tilt-down feature off. After all, how many times do you parallel park. Saves a lot of wear and tear on the mirror mechanism. On those occasions that I do parallel park, I tilt the mirror down. Think I've done it twice in the last three years.

If it was a fuse issue, the mirrors wouldn't work at all.

Sounds like it might be an issue with the switch. Check the contacts for corrosion.
