personally I would like that. On my dads 04 Powerstroke he had remote start, had to put the key in to drive. Well one day the remote start went haywire and started the truck randomly. If he didnt have to put the key in anyone coulda just hopped in and drove off.

Default drive

and when the remote is more than 5 feet away, it shuts off... and they get charged with grand theft auto and go to jail

locks keep honest people honest... if someone is going to steal a car... they are going to steal a car.

The Tahoe is also missing AUTO window UP AND DOWN on all 4 buttons on the driver's control.

Ditto on the lack of auto "up and down" on windows. They should also have included a "tilt and telescopic" steering.

Default yes!

POWER tilt and telescopic wheel.

my mom's X5 has this, it remembers it's position via buttons or who unlocks it... the tahoe could easily add it.

Definately. My boss at work got a new F150 with sync- I was helping him with the blue tooth setup and the option was load contacts. One of the options was load contacts. It loaded them rightr up from his blackberrry. I was pissed when I told him my 50k+ truck did not have that option.

I miss the adjustable headrest that tilted fwd. My 2000 had them.....also the glovebox in the back. Used to keep my hitch and lock in there.
No override light switch in back. Had all these items in my 2000. Dont get me wrong I love the 09 just some of the simple things you miss.

Even thought you can't load your contacts, depending on if the phone supports it or not, you should be able to still dial using your contact names.

I am sure they can do the above wanted features but that would only raise the price more. Your 50k truck becomes 60k.
