Default 2009 Z71 Suburban - Engine Cranks on its own - Fog lamps Flash and Flicker

Hi, I have a very strange problem. I have a 2009 Suburban 1500 Z71 - about a week ago we heard a strange noise coming from outside. We looked out the window and could hear our Suburan trying to start as the engine was cranking over. No one in or near the car, I quickly disconnected the battery cable. I then connected it and sure enough the engine began cranking, I disconnected the battery cable and the starter fuse under the hood in the fuse box and went back to bed. The next day I reconnected the battery cable and all seemed well until last night. Last night we noticed the fog lamps on the Suburban were flashing / flicker in an odd way, again no one in or near the car, no key in the ignition or anything and I pulled the battery cable and went back to bed. We have only had this car a few months and overall it is in imaculate condition with 190K miles, and now this issue. I can find no obvious physical damadge or bad wiring, not sure what to do next. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks
James

Welcome from Florida. Remove the starter relay and see if the starting problem stops. It might be a faulty relay.

Starter solenoid checks out fine, if I keep the car battery cable disconnected overnight everthing seems to work okay for a day or two and then you never know what is going to happen. Sometimes the car will lock it self, eject a cd or flash the lights, at least it hasn't driven off by itself yet, but sometime I wonder what will happen.
