Tahoe & SuburbanThe power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.
I hope I can't get some help here. I'm looking at a for sale 2010 Chevy Suburban. 1500 LT Sport Utility 4WD (thats how it';s listed)
My issue is in regards to the 4 wheel drive system...as I've researched it a bit and found there are two types.
Some (like the one I am looking at) has a selector dash button marked with 2hi, auto, and 4hi. Others have a selector **** with 2hi, auto, 4hi and 4 low. Niether say "High or "low" but instead use arrows pointing up or down indication high or low. My question is what (specifiically) what's the difference in the two?
See links posted of the two different dash switches. My big concern is that the type with the 2 hi, auto, 4hi set up is a poor 4x4 set up. And the 2hi,awd, 4hi, 4 low is a true 4x4 type. Any help is appreciated as I really like the truck but it has the 2hi,awd,4hi selector and from what Ive read so far seems to be an inferior 4x4 set up.
