Default 2011 LTZ Wheels

I was at the boat launch last weekend and saw a LT w/LTZ wheels (20s) 5 spoke...

Mike are like a painted wheel w/a clear coat that's yellowing. these looked like machined metal...

was there a wheel change design, and due to the yellowing being covered by the rust / paint warrenty... ehh ehh?

Not sure what you saw but the 2011 LTZ wheel is now available chromed. In 2007 they were available as a gray painted wheel in addition to the polished w/ clear coat. The painted ones were due to the supplier not meeting the spec for polished wheel.

Can you invoke the "Powertrain" warranty? Wheels would certainly seem to be part of it. Or are you still in the 3/36?

Default Nope

there's a factory warranty on 'painted surfaces' I asked the hotline about it, and yes, the wheels are a painted surface, which I believe (don't quote me, I'm too lazy to go look) is 5 year 100,000 mile coverage... and mine are yellowing.

so maybe these were 'chromed'?

site says "rust" 6 year 100,000 miles...

nothing about 'paint'...

pita.. now to read the fine print...

Got $940 because voice commands for destinations on my new '09 LTZ didn't work.
Got $340 because the bluetooth didn't work, took 8 trips to get it work 1/2 the time...

If GM would just build something that didn't fall apart in 20 miles, I would be a happy guy...
