I have a 2011 Suburban with the engine light on. Went to Advanced Auto Parts to have the code read. Code: P0010 is what was given by them. What parts would be associated with this code, that I will need to have replaced

Welcome to the forum. A Google search reveals that code indicates it is some type of timing issue possibly dealing with the camshaft. Probably best to take it to a dealer or independent mechanic to deal with the issue.

 

It could be as simple as the cam shaft position sensor, but it could also be the wire harness that runs to the sensor, it could also be a bad signal from the crank shaft position sensor that is causing a false cam shaft error. The cam shaft position sensor connector could be corroded and simply needs to be cleaned. I know this may make it seem more complicated but the the code is only a place to start not necessarily the actual problem.
