When you start seeing the "premium" features in the base model, that's usually a really good indication that a redesign is eminent... i.e. review camera being standard in the LS model...
Its also means that the new model will be lacking some new features that the second year of a new design will have....
The Idea is to always keep you wanting...

Default 2015 Tahoe revealed....

.... here: 2015 Tahoe Info, Specs, Price, Pictures, Wiki | GM Authority

Looks great with alot of new fancy stuff, incl a new engine.

I also have heard that later on, the 6-speed transmission will be replaced with a 8-speed. Anyone else have more info on this?

Also; if I read the engine info correctly: the new engine has "only" two valves per cylinder and they still use the pushrods. In other words: no top-cams on this engine.

If this is correct; I wonder why? the design with pushrods is pretty obsolete...?
But maybe someone else has more info? Guess GM has some good reasons for the engine design....
