Found this thread searching for a solution to my MyLink problem, not a Tahoe but anways, drove off the lot with my new 2015 Silverado 1500 LT Wednesday night, today on my way home the system just shut off. Screen is black, no radio button does anything. Pulled over to restart the truck see if that would fix it and nope, nothing. Pretty disappointed to say the least, the MyLink system lasted all of 2 1/2 days

Default Same problem

Kristen,
We have the same issue with the exact same vehicle. Our dealership shad they've heard several people complain and the system over heats and shuts down to cool off. Which to me is not a good answer. We spent too much money for the navigation to stop working after 30 minutes.

Thumbs down Reboot issue

Has anyone gotten this issue resolved?
Just had my truck into dealership and of course...the service department never heard of this issue. I explained to them to Google it...or just drive my truck...since it basically happens now every 8 to 10 minutes. They claim my link system has all the latest updates and it must be an Internet connection issue. Hello? I'm not using the internet ...I'm just playing a playlist...but they claim its still a signal...so if that's the case...it's still an issue on their end?? The worst part...my navigation shuts down...and when it reboots the map doesn't always load and all I get is a spinning circle. So now I'm stuck with a 70g brand new ltz with a broken system....
Not to mention my voice controls went on me last week for a couple days.
So dissappointed with chevrolet service so far. I came put of land rover...they may be pricey and not made so great...but they're service is second to none. They would never let a customer leave their service department with an issue like this...especially after dropping that amount of money on a vehicle.

Default Having same issue

Greetings; I just got a (used) 2015 Chevy Suburban LTZ and according to your replies it appears that I must be prepare for the worse. My media system keeps rebooting every 20-30 minutes and as of that my mp3 player as well as my paired phone device keep freezing up stopping all functions and forcing me to constantly manually reset them. Strangely the (MyLink) infotainment system screen stays working normally. I spoke to the (Forest Lake Chevy, Forest Lake, MN.) dealership I bought it from and they have no clue whatsoever of what's going on. Along with that I'm also noticing that the zone climate command is not responding to its capacity when trying to obey the desired command. I will be consulting this issues with my NJ local dealer and see what they'll come up with. Please keep me posted for recommendations.

Angry Same issue with MyLink

Been having the same issue on my 2013 Traverse. I had to have the whole system replaced because the CD player stopped working about 6 months ago. Now my link reboots on its own and the dealership can't duplicate the problem. I left my car there all day and it didn't happen. Once I left the dealership, 5 minutes into my drive home it happened again. It was already too late to turn around. It's frustrating and we are thinking of trading it in. But definitely not getting another Chevy due to this issue. It's unacceptable and I am really disappointed. I love my traverse but I am not willing to put up with that at all.

Default Chevy Malibu

I have the same problem with my 2015 Chevrolet Malibu. Mylink system reboots about every 20 min on some days. No interruption in music before it starts. Only indication l have is no controls will work on steering wheel or console. Volume, phone, channel select all freeze until it reboots. Sometimes I have to pull over and turn car off, open door and wait about 10 seconds to reboot it. As stated before several times in this feed. Chevy won't do anything until they see it. Been happening since day one.Kinda wish I had followed my first mind and stuck with my usual brand.
