The intake gasket blew out the other night. i replaced the intake gasket and put it all back together. it started right up but ran a little rough. i shut it off and it never would start back up. i have good fuel pressure, good spark. i checked the timing on the distrubuter several times and i was lined up at the #1 plug at tdc compression. i even replaced the timing chain last night and aligned the dots at 6 and 12. redone all the timing and still no start. with it where it should be on timing it acts like 180 out due to popping through tbi. Any Ideas? i have talked to 3 other mechanincs and they dont know either.

 

i finally figured it out. check the distrubuter. the pick up is working but its the outside ring on the pickup that was barely moving.
