Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

Default Aftermarket head unit no sound

When I reconnect the factory head unit I have audio but when I connect the aftermarket head unit I have no audio. yes I've done the thing we connect the one wire from the amp to the aftermarket radio and I still don't get audio still but if I take the connect all of that and put it all the way back to normal stock I have audio again the head unit fully functions... Everything on the aftermarket radio works fine, it connects it does everything it needs to do besides makes sound... yes I've checked all the fuses yes I checked all the wires I've rewired this radio five different times I put three different quick connectors in I've tried without the quick connector it never works with the aftermarket radio and yes all the radios are rated at 14.4 volts or higher I understand that it's not a 12 volt battery it's a Suburban I've had nothing but Suburban since I was 16 so don't go there but this is the only Suburban I've ever had with this issue but so when I put the factory radio back in it, works flawlessly every time... I just can't seem to get audio to come out of the aftermarket radio... I literally have bought five different radios, so you can't tell me it's a radio issue with five different radios that I bought brand new, because I tested that theory and put them all in my buddy's Tahoe same year motor just a Tahoe, and all 5 have worked fine in his, audio comes through everything works great, but when I put them in Suburban, they just don't work but I put the factory radio back in and it acts like there's no issues does it just not want to have an aftermarket radio and that's just how its gotta be, and this particular Suburban just does not want to take an aftermarket head unit Singldin double din CD player no CD player if it's not the factory radio it's just not going to make sound it'll do everything under the book Bluetooth play DVDs radio go to the radio stations but there's no audio but again factory radio goes back in plug all the wires back up connect them all the right way they're supposed to be audio comes right out fine. what the hell am I doing wrong or is something wrong with my Suburban..?
