hey guys n gals, i need some advice... in the next week or so ill bu making the jump from my beloved silverados to an suv, be it a tahoe, burban, yukon, or escalade it will be 07 up black outside and grey or black inside. anyways my main question from you people who have these beautiful rides is is there anythimg i should be watching for? any options that have a bad rep of failures, one engine better then the other, etc etc? any recalls i should make sure are done prior to buying? anything like that would be very helpfull.

also im 6'3 and the rear view mirror in the 'hoe i drove was literally in the middle of my eye line, is there a way to move them?

 

My wife's '08 Avalanche is a pretty cool truck....we got it to haul stuff and the kid. I'm 6'2 and have plenty of room. It's LT1 with cloth seats, no issues to date....

 

I'd take it to a dealer and have them check to make sure all of the upgrades & recalls have been done. Have had some little minor things on mine but overall has been reliable. Biggest thing is remote start doesn't about once every ten times.
