Batter Drain 2015 Tahoe - DVD
Hello!
My names Ben. I drive a 2015 Tahoe with ~90k miles on it. Just wanted to see if anyone else had this issue and found a fix.
Problem Summary: Car sat for a week while on vacation pre covid. Came back and it was dead. Charged it and died a few days later. Ended up replacing battery and alternator to no avail.
Got frustrated and eventually disconnected the wiring harness on the drop down dvd player. Gut feeling said it wasn’t shutting off completely when car turned off.
Haven’t had the issue since!
Have two small kids and would like to resolve the issue and don’t feel like explaining it if i ever trade it in.
Any ideas on how to fix or what might be occurring?
Thanks!
Ben
