Yeah it says 1/4 inch thicker. Very strange because I have seen it advertised as 1/4 thicker, 1/2 thicker, and 3/4 thick per bar. So I really have no idea. However, I will probably get one some time soon. I have just spent to much lately. I also am afraid I will get it and wont be impressed!

 

biglg, sorry man I should have been more clear. I have a billet grill made my carriage works, not a phat one. Sorry if I got you excited bud haha. But I love my Carriage works grill man, you should really look into them if you decide not to go with the phat.

I ordered a different grille for my Tahoe, supposably a fatter bar grille. I dont really want to give my old one away, but I will sell it cheap. I did get it off ebay and paid around 85 for it. I will take significantly less. It isnt the best quality, it shows some wear. However, it will definately look better than stock. Look at the pictures on the first page of this post! Make me an offer!

By the way, it is a bolt over grille. It takes about 15 minutes to slap on! You have to take nothing off your current grille. Very easy to install. If I cant find the instructions I can help you along on the install. HOwever it is very simple and you would probably figure it out without needing help.

 

I def. like the #2 all white bowtie. The #1 black outline doesn't look bad either however. I guess I need to step my Hoe' game up b/c all three bowties make the OEM gold look like junk!
