can't remove 3rd row seat

3d seat stuck in open position, not mounted in car
In trying to solve the stuck in truck syndrome, I managed to get 3d seat out, but it is in open position, and I cant' release it to remount in truck. I tried manually shutting all latches hoping that would allow me trick the seat into thinking it was in car, from where I could fold it and remount it.
