Default Cleaning my 5.3 throttle body question.

2007 Suburban 5.3 Flex Fuel 58,000 <O></O>
Have you ever cleaned your throttle body? And if you did do you have to do a re-learn process with a OBDll Scan tool to compensate for the clean throttle body. This would be due to the fact the computer has compensated for the dirty one, seems like it would re-learn for the clean one also. But I read I have to use the scan tool to do the re-learn procedure. <O></O>

I have a check engine light on for Throttle Position Sensor. I found out I need to buy the entire throttle body cant but just the sensor. I thought I would clean it first and see if that works.<O></O>

I think my 2007 5yr/100,000 power train covers the throttle body, this was excluded in the later year GM's<O></O>

Any help Thanks.<O></O>

If I understand this right

Yes you can clean the throttle body, if you think it needs to be relearned after cleaning you can disconnect the battery for about 10min, this will cause a reset and the ECM will learn conditions.

Yes your throttle body should be covered by your 5yr/100k
