Default Correct Shocks for 2007 Suburban with ZW7 Rear Suspension

Does anyone know what part number for an aftermarket shock is for this.
O'Reilly, Advance, AutoZone, etc. don't list it.

Default Yes that is correct

I've ordered same from RockAuto.com. I was hoping to find some local this weekend, but parts stores here do not stock AC-Deleco shocks.

The numbers provided for the front shock strut is for the shock only, you will need to remove and reuse the coil spring...

Default Used QuickStrut

Advance Auto Parts had quick strut replacements about $120 each that did not require spring compressor, since they already have the whole unit built with spring.

Advance matched the Rock Auto price on those units.

The Quick struts are a good alternative however the premium smooth OEM ride shocks (or at least mine do) have a jacket coating on the coil springs to help with sound and the plastic spacer separating the strut from spring, the Monroe QS springs do not have that coating...just FYI
If you want to keep your ride factory, I would suggest keeping the OEM springs...

Here is the write up I did on doing my shocks and struts

Default Too Late for that now

Thanks for the input. I've already installed the others ride seems ok to me.

I really need the back ones, they should be here tomorrow.

Since when have shocks cost so much? It seems I can find a reasonable price for them from rock auto but no one will install them for me, 3 places said they have to sell you the shock to be able to install them. So the same shocks double in price, 1100$ is wholly a SHOCK to me. 😯

I'm sure its all part of the profit scheme, labor is not too intensive for this so its only maybe an hour or two at most... maybe offer to have them perform the alignment also...
