Default cranks no start

2004 suburban will not start, after reading different answers I changed the passlock sensor. It cranks but no start, did all the relearn stuff still no start. I removed the after market remote start. It tries to start but will not I can hear the fuel pump run when I turn the key. Could it be the lock cylinder? there are no dtc's It has fuel in the tank and a good charge on the battery.
any help would be great

I have a '99 suburban (229,000+ miles). About every 18 months to 2 years, I have to replace the rotor cap and rotor. Pull rotor cap off and chec the rotor and see if there is a crossfiring taking place.

stoneface You need to verify fuel pressure, just hearing it spin up doesn't mean its working properly...

Well I was on another forum. One called Chevy suburban forum and read a topic that said when the tank is right at or under a 1/4 tank his suburban would not start as well as a lot of others mine was right a 1/4 I put 5 gallons in and it started right up. Go figure someone said there was a bulletin on this problem. Well it started and I guess I wont be letting it go below a 1/4 tank.
Another GM problem. I changed the passlock sensor for nothing 110.00 wasted.
Thanks for all the help

Its most likely the fuel pump... the 1/4 tank plan may work for a while but the pump will fail....
