Dome lights - 2007 Suburban?
I just bought a new 07 Suburban LTZ, but the interior Dome lights will not come on when the door(s ) are open. I have set the switch to the "out" position, but they won't come on Automatically. I can manually turn them on, but not auto. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Jeff

jbsavage_24,
You may want to double check the Dome Lamp Override. Press the dome override button, located next to the exterior lamps control, to keep the dome lamps off when a door is open. To set the lamps to the automatic operation, press the button again so that it is extended. With the button in this position, the dome lamps will come on when a door is opened.
When the doors are opened, the dome lamps will come on if the dome override button is in the extended position. If the dome override button is pressed in, the lamps will not come on.
For your reference, this information is also available in the owner's manual on pages 214 & 215. A digital copy of the manual is available at: http://www.extendedgmwarranty.com/ow...olet-Tahoe.pdf
If the bulbs are working when you press the buttons, the switch in the door may be bad. So they work, but not when you open the doors right? If so, you may have to have the dealer fix it for you.
I hope this information is helpful. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me.
Have a great day!
