Default Drivers side floor gets wet after rain

Hello all.
I have a 2009 Suburban LTZ that recently developed a leak somewhere. Funny thing is that a friend of mine who has the identical Suburban has been telling me for over a year now that their Suburban's driver side gets wet as well as drivers side center floor. Their vehicle has also developed electrical issues due to the leak. Trying to catch/repair the leak before mine develops those issues.
My question to you folks is ... has anyone experienced this mystery leak in their Suburban, Tahoe?
I have called various Chevy dealers and spoke to their service Mgr. and keep getting the same old "No we've never seen/heard of that problem. Even called Chevy directly and got the same answer.
Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

lots of possibilities ... sunroof, door seals, windshield seal, aftermarket accessories ....

You need to do tests to locate the leak. Strip the trim and carpet inside douse car with garden hose. Or douse it with soapy water, and put blower on max. watch for bubbles. Use compressed air around gaskets. Etc.

Talking driver's side wet

My Yukon did that too. I found it was leaking through the roof rack down the left side windshield support across the left dash fuse panel, and down to the floor. You can pop the trim off the support column and put a hose on the area and watch to see if water is coming through that way. Good luck. Cheers. Wavelength.
