Tahoe & SuburbanThe power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.
I probably damaged the middle of the 3 side nipples that are part of the Evaporative Canister.
The middle nipple is connected via a quick disconnect and a nylon tube ( which becomes the vapor tube that eventually reaches the engine) .
I guess that I wrestled so much with the quick disconnect to remove the canister, that I strained the nipple structure.
It now has a crack near its base. It resembles the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
It does seem to have enough intact structure to hold everything in place.
Is it possible to seal the Evaporative Canister leaking nipple ?
I was thinking a two part epoxy over the plastic nipple base or JB Weld.
Open to suggestions.

It looks like the material is ABS. I'd suggest either ABS glue, or a general ABS/PVC cement.
When you run across quick disconnects that will not release in rust country, you need to spray on penetrant and let sit and while squeezing later you turn/twist slightly till moves free and then apply pulling pressure while doing the disconnect. It is just something you have to work at at a slow pace.
