intake as in a cold air intake? or a intake manifold? many options out there for exhaust. Magnaflow and Flowmaster both have cat backs and great sounds but the sounds they produce are very different. you will have to watch youtube to find what exhaust sound you want.

Yes, intake as air intake. Has anyone tried a K&N Junior?
Thanks

i've always used k&n had one on my expy and got one now on my 07 tundra with a gibson extreme dual exhaust. sounds like a beast! haven't done any mods to the 07 suburban yet. sometimes i get tired of hearing the exhaust-especially on long rides, but if i did i would probably go k&n and a magnaflow 40. buddy has a magnaflow on his 03 siverado ss. sounds nice

The current intake on your 07 is a cold air intake, note that the air is pulled from the fender well... The only thing that an aftermarket will do is remove most of the baffling/muffler so that you hear more of the air being sucked into the engine...it will sound cool but do little more then lighten your wallet... my 2¢

Also if you go w/ an oiled air filter, you run the risk of coking the MAF if you over-oil the filter.

only thing you want to do is to replace the intake tube, that's the only restricting thing on the intake.

the paper element filters are very restrictive compared to oiled filters. But, too risky, and they TONS of fine particles through that a paper element would stop.
