I did read it back to front. The only things not covered are stereo related components and for some reason seat heaters. Everything else is covered. When the bank was telling me about it I went into the "its too good to be true mode." I asked them to show me a contract. I read it, and I was impressed. The GM warranty sponsor for this site wanted $2200 for a 7yr 80,000 warranty. The dealer I purchased the truck from was even higher than that!! I paid $1575, and that included a 100% refund clause if the truck is totaled.
The totaled out clasue is basically a reimbursment for the extended warranty you wont be using now...GMPP can do the same thing, you get money back if you trade it before the time limit is up, as you are not using that much of the warranty now....and you can cancel it at any time and get some money back as well if you DID NOT USE it....

on a side note....try a couple of different dealerships, as a secret kinda with most extended warranties the dealer who sells it can mark it up how ever much they want, over what the warranty company sells it for, this is how they make some extra $$, as isthe case with interest rates as well, they are allowed to mark up .5 %...with that being sad THAT is supposed to change in the US then in Canada, I thnk it may already have in the US as I see GMPP quotes being givein over the net now, so you can not mark it up that way, however here the dealer can still mark it up a few hundred bucks if they want.

And toydriver does it specifically say brakes are covered, and plugs, I just dont beleive that....nobody covers that crap, these can go anytime its all driver dependent.....if your hard on brakes they can warp after 100 miles...
