dealership would be $1,000 for parts, labor, etc. the whole deal.
my private mechanic said would be about $750 for him to do with parts and labor, but said definitely check out rebuilt compressors on line, etc. i've seen some on ebay for as low as $150, with warranty. are they too good to be true? i want low price but do not want to be scammed.
