Default Front Coil ends: one faces in and other is out....

so after replacing the front shocks and ball joints on my 07 Suburban (bought used at 90k) , I began to question why the previous setup had the drivers side coil top "end" facing in towards the engine and the passenger side was opposite... facing out. I did the same setup just to get it back together but just looked into a video repair guide that explains them both facing out.

My question here is, what should I notice with them installed as opposite as I drive the vehicle? Or is it more of an even type of tire wear issue?

I believe it has to do with the loading of the spring. putting it 90 degrees out is probably more of a concern they 180 out. If they were replaced by previous owner they could have potentially purchased 2 drivers side or 2 passenger side strut assemblies and twisted one of them to work. Typically there is a drivers side and passenger side with the spring already in the proper deflection position. You likely will notice a ride difference more so then a tire ware issue. I'm no expert just surmising

I will take a closer look today and see if i can see any stamped part numbers on the coils without pulling them out. I do have to dial in the Toe as something went slightly out of whack when putting it all back together. Tie rods where only unbolted and never replaced and ended up with my steering slightly cocked to the left. So I am getting an even suspension feel and great ride when driving a somewhat straight path... no pulling to either side but do notice more tire chirps when hitting man hole covers and such (odd). Only concerning feel is when turning left, it wants to stay left and not return the wheel to 12 o'clock. I don't think this has anything to do with the coils as they were like that before I replaced the shocks. Also when driving on wet roads makes it feel as if i am on ice and also hydro-planned on some running water that crossed over the highway which I never experienced in the 80k miles i have had with this truck... that was very alarming!!!

turns out the passenger side upper ball joint bracket had the left bolt inserted the wrong direction making the cams line up to the preset notches in a slightly wrong position that toed out the wheel. fixed it and and the test drive along with a straight steering wheel feels really good. I will leave the drivers coil end facing in for now... couldn't find and part numbers on them so a few good rides will determine if it stays that way or not
