Default GM Navigation Install Inquiry

We installed a OEM navigation unit into a 2007 Denali, GM navigation part number 25797978.

When the truck is parked, the screen stays on.

What could the problem be? Is it install error, or a bad Navigation unit?

Is the key still in the Run position?

Negative, the key is not in the run position.

Shawn, the volume also does not work on the navigation unit or the steering wheel. It has been to 2 different dealers where programming was done. I dont know if it is a defective unit, bad programming, or bad install.

does your truck meet the criteria for a nav to be installed?

Yeah that is the vibe I get. I'll take it to another dealer and try again! Thanks for your help...
