Default Head Light Aiming

I was wondering if any one has issue with the low beam aiming of their head lights?

My low beams seem to only be shining about 2 car lengths ahead, I've tried to raise them but when cranking on the adjuster they appear to stop. Normally you would have the right one pointed slightly higher than the left but they are both the same and I can't raise the right one any more

High beams are great, appreciate your help.

2007 LTZ, everything but power retract boards, purchased DEC 2009, with 19k on the clicker, it's great for hooking up the snowmo trailer and heading north to the UP but....

I got to tell you those low beams are a problem, any suggestions on the aiming?

No but maybe someone here can lend a hand. Have you asked anyone in a dealer service dept?

I've found some information while researching this issue that should shed some insight on to the problem you are facing here. The instructions are as follows.
  1. [*]
I hope that helps you get this issue resolved. Also make sure to do this on a 5'x12' piece of wall (at the least(matte white if you can)) with the vehicle about 25 feet away.

Jeff thanks for the detailed write up, that had to take a lot of work so I can't say how much I appreciate you taking the time, unfortunately the headlights on the 07 Tahoe can only be adjusted up and down, as far as i can tell the right light appears to be topped out. I did check the distance today and they only illuminate out 55 feet. I think the ride control keeps the vehicles back end up pretty high, but even this past winter with four adults and a two place open snowmobile trailer hooked up I still found myself wanting to switch to high beams.

Love the truck HATE the head lights.

Any other suggestions, Thanks again.

Sorry for the lack of response. I apologize but I don't have anything more than the information you see above on the problem. On page 477 in your owners manual it should have the same information. I would suggest speaking with a dealership about this to see if there is anything else to be done.
