Default Hole in the front bumper

I have two "cutouts in the front bumper of the hoe that looks like the should be a tow hook or something there. When you look into the holes I did not see any mounting holes in the frame there to mount any hooks. Should there be tow hooks there or are they just useless holes?

As far as I'm concerned there is no such thing as a useless hole.... Oh wait we're talking about trucks here?????

Mine is the LT2 so should it come with hooks and they forgot them or is that an "option".
"useless holes" yep I agree with ya there but tow hooks in the hole of a hoe, oh heck now I'm drifting off topic!! ha-ha

Tow Hooks are standard on every 07 4x4 or z71 tahoe.

Your 2LT Tahoe must be a 2WD model.

You can install the GM Factory Tow Hooks if you wish, they sell for about $35 and are GM Part #12499870 (for the set of two)
There should be a through-bolt in the front frame section that you remove and then re-install to secure the hooks.

You can also get the hooks in chrome for about $100 GM Part #19158571
