Default iConnect for iPod and 07' GM's

I'm sure that some of you know about this, but just in case I wanted to put up this post. I should be receiving one of these from http://www.JPCustoms.com this week some time. Can't wait to hook it up!

It's called the iConnect and it allows you to totally control your iPod through your navigation head-unit.
Info here: http://www.smartpark.net/iPod_iConnect.html
PDF here: http://www.smartpark.net/resources/i...et%20aug06.pdf

See it in action at the following links (Takes a few seconds to load):
Playlists: http://www.landmarkchevrolet.com/sit..._Playlists.mov
Standard Controls: http://www.landmarkchevrolet.com/sit...d_controls.mov
Off and on: http://www.landmarkchevrolet.com/sit..._iPod_mode.mov

Again, just passin' along the love!

I got it from JP Customs for $219. Smart Park will only sell it to dealerships or authorized dealers, which I believe JP Customs is now one of.

That looks really cool. Couple questions does theIpod turn on and off automatically when you start the engine and does it charge the Ipod while it is connected or do you have to connect it to a power outlet?

For $200 I will ride in your passenger seat and change the channel for you.

That is a good price. I called the company to buy one and they wanted $400 or $450 for it.

Smart Park told you that?! That's crazy. I think they're just trying to discourage "end-users" calling them directly, so they tell you an outlandish price. Just my theroy.
