Default Ignition fuse 99 Suburban

My ignition fuse keeps blowing every time I try to start my Suburban. Any ideas on what the problem might be?

Either the starter is pulling to much current or there is a short in the circuit somewhere. When does the fuse blow- when you turn the starter?

I just encountered a stranded motorist with a 99 Chevy Suburban who had the exact same issue. For him it was a loose connection coming from a wire on the positive side of the battery to the firewall (junction) and then on to the fuse box. I fixed it by tightening the connection from the battery on one side then the other side from alternator and also two tiny bolts that connected it to firewall on the left and right. After nothing shook anymore it started and the fuse no longer blew. He had been stranded for hours before I came by. Hopefully this helps someone
