Line-X on Running Boards??
Hello all, I am new to the Chevy forum based on my recent purchase of a 2015 Suburban for the wife as the family vehicle. I myself can be found on the VW forums pretty regularly. Anywhoo...the reason I am making my first post was to ask if any of ya'll have thought of or have had Line-X sprayed on plastic before.
If I had to think of one "big" complaint about my new Burb it is that the plastic running boards are already getting scuffed and scratched up and "Bertha" is only 3 months old. Its rather frustrating that the material they would use would be so prone to scuffing. My thought was to take it down to the local Line-X dealer and have them sprayed but I wanted to reach out to the masses first and get thoughts.
Thanks in advance

Do you have any before and after photos of the scuffing? the ones on my 09 seem.. fine to me.
As for putting it on plastic, I'd wonder if it would bond properly or just chip off after a few months.
And what would the surface be like? You don't want to step on something slippery getting in/out of the car...
As for big complaints, if your XM antenna isn't leaking water into your lap while driving, I think you're doing ok
