lowering problems
i have lowered my 2007 with a groundforce kit and now my traction control and abs lights up on my dash. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? What should I do. I really need ur help!
Is this a new install?
The Traction control light has been an issue on some of the lowered Tahoes. I have about 9100 miles on ours and there was certain turning and braking conditions that the traction control light wouldcome on. Itdid iteverytime I turned into my sons daycare. I will say that I recently had the truck realigned and we played around with the angles and tried a few different setups at the Chevy dealer on their new John Bean machineand I have not had a Traction control light come on for over a 1000 miles.
As far as the abs light, is it on all the time? Check all of the connectors at all four wheels and make sure their plugged in. Who installed the kit?

I wish you luck and don't have much to add except that every car I have ever messed with the stock suspension (lowered, installed stiffer coils, adjust torsion bars, etc. etc.) I have had nothing but problems...dash lights, steering wheel shimmy, etc. etc....good luck, I would love to lower my rear end about an 1", but too afraid to mess anything up...
Thanks for taking time out to respond! The abs light is on all the time as well as the traction control. The install was done by Action Tires in New Jersey. I guess I will try the wheel alignment and make sure the connection are in before taking it to the dealer. However the ride is very firm and and handels real well. Thanks for the advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! will post a picture soon
How about taking it back to them and having them fix it they messed it up the dealer wont help you

For a quick check, turn the wheels and make sure that the abs sensors are connected. Do the same for the rear. If they all appear to be plugged in, then I would assume that they pulled on one or all of them maybe breaking the wires. If they all appear to be intact then I would bring it back to them and make damn sure that they know that this is not normal. We use the groundforce kit regualry along with other kitsand never had this issue. The traction control thing yes but not the abs.
