Default Ltz suburban vs. Lt or ls... How are the fenders different?

I have a 2007 Suburban LTZ and I want to put on fender flares. Every brand and every site I look at all specify that they will fit pretty much any Suburban except for the LTZ trim model. What makes the LTZ fenders different? Why will they not fit the LTZ? I have not been able to find an answer to this. I am hoping somebody here can shed some light on this for me or tell me what they used on their LTZ.

Trim around the opening only on a LTZ maybe.

There is no existing extra trim around the fender openings of wheel well. It is just the metal fenders like all other suburbans.

I had both a 2007 and a 2010 Tahoe LTZ and there was no trim around the wheel well openings.

Maybe due to having running boards standard on an LTZ ? Mudflaps are an issue on mine due to having power running boards, maybe that's the difference. Not sure on a '07.

Interesting theory. I bought my burban used, but it has after market looking, chrome, non powered nerf bars, not power running boards. However, that could make a difference that I was not seeing as a conflict for the flares. I will look into that. Thanks for the suggestion.

I don't believe they had power running boards on the 07 model.

A manufacturer suggested the bumpers might be different, but looking at online photos and images, I cannot see a difference in the bumpers either.

My point was factory running boards, stationary or power being standard on a LTZ may be in the way of a flare as they get close the wheel opening.
