Default Nav/radio does not turn on

2007 Tahoe

I tried to install the lockpick today and when I was done with the installation the screen would not come on. (it was working prior)

I unplugged the lockpick and put everything back in its original position but the nav/radioscreen still does not come on.

Is there a reset button, I've tried everything... PLEASE HELP

Have you tested the fuse for the radio? I would start there. If so, let the dealer figure it out. Just play dumb.

I have a 13 year old I can lend you for this. I tell you; a true proffesional when it comes to "playing dumb".

When I installed the new Gen-3 Lockpick last week my nav radio also would not turn on however, when I put everything back the way it was (with the Gen-1 Lockpick) it worked properly again.

07summitwhite: How do I test the fuse and where is it located.

I am going to unplug the battery overnite to see if that works!?

If not, I am playing dumb like dumb n dumber... Guess I'll have to put the stereo cover back on, that was such a B*%$# to get off!

Owners manual should tell you the location.

Otherwise, one suggestion- make sure you fully inserted the plugs back into the radio; they snap in almost flush (the small blue lock tabs should be in the "unlocked" (pulled out) position before you try to reinsert)

Fuse box located inside of Your engine compartment on the right (driver) side
when you pull fuse box cover out, you'll see a sticker look like picture below.
BTW I high_lighted Radio Fuse for You
