I just my Tahoe last week and I wanted to know what order I should get the following upgrade(s):

I already have a catback exhaust installed the second day I had the car.

1. Edelbrock Headers Shorty with Ti Coating good up to 1600 degrees (Should I get gibson, Borla?)
2. Cold air Intake right now I am leaning towards AEM Brute Force Kit

Outside of that I am not sure what else to do besides a supercharger which is out of the question for awhile because I am getting married next year.

 

Save your money and take your sweety on a honeymoon to some place nice like Tahiti.

 

I already have the cash to pay for the honeymoon......about $5k plus I have another 9 months to save money. I don't have a car payment becuase I paid cash money yo!

 

Then buy the supercharger.

 

I was just looking to see what headers everyone is using and Air intake.

I am going to do that first.

Then two subwoofers in the trunk, tint the windows and that is all for now.

Why did you get a Trunk with your Tahoe As soon as I get some cash Im gonna be getting a cold air intake, and also put headers and dual exhaust on my hoe...I havent narrowed any brands down yet as I dont have the cash at the moment...

 

Unfortunately I have to work a lot. I have the Bose sound system but I want to add two 12s nothing huge. I had 2 15s last time which was too much.

I have the 4wd so I got the magnaflow exhaust with 4.5 side exit tip.

 

In my younger days I spent a small fortune installing go-fast goodies on my vehicles and I can say form experience that I have purchased many sets of quality headers either heat wrapped them or had em coated and they were always (without exception) the biggest pain in the *** that I have ever endured, if they weren’t melting plug wires they were leaking from both ends or melting some other parts or generating so much heat under the hood that engine cooling became a problem and that’s when they weren’t cooking the starter motor to death.
Believe me, there is a very good reason that the factory doesn’t install headers these days.

 

the edelbrock headers are coated with a 1600 degree temp coating....that should be okay...right?
