TMW,
Have you done any research on the ipod interface offered by peripheral?

It looks like it does the exact same thing as the Neucleus, it even has the same "packaging". It's worth sending them an email to find out, but I'm pretty sure it's the same 29 bit information flow. The limitations are within GM's design.

Update: Yeah, I just read the PDF and it's the same as the Neucleus. Someone is licensing out the hardware and the software.

Hey I am not sure if this has happened to you . I unplugged the IPOD last night to load some more music on it. and this morning I get in the Tahoe. Plug it in start it up and get ready to leave the house. And no XM and no Ipod.

I haven't gone outside to the truck yet. I'll let you know.

Ideally I'm sure we all would have liked to have the iPod hidden, as there would have been full functionality from the head-unit, but since we can't I found a cool little "hidden" spot for it, yet it still gives me quick access to change the songs, etc. when in manual mode. I don't have to lift the center console to get to it, nor do I have to lean over to the glove box.

I guess i have a faulty one, they are going to send me another one. They have never heard of the problem that I am having. if I take my IPOD out i have to do the whole install over again. That is the only way that it works... SUCKS!!!!
Ohh well that is what happens when you get new gadgets...[:'(]

ORIGINAL: dac0068

it works... but it tells you how to get your XM back. and mine is gone and I can not get it back. So I will have to take it out and start again. I am going to call the in a while I am not sure what is going on with it. But it did work but when i wanted to go back to Xm. It said there was an error ... and then it all went away and now I can't even get the Ipod to work. Just an update.....
You all good with your unit now? How do you like it?

I'm heading to CES next week to talk directly to the people that are making these. I'm hoping someone will unveil something new while at the show.
