i need a little help with a few things if any one or would care to sure info with me would be great. So here we go ok i have barn doors cluster keeps saying right rear door ajar did every thing i could think of?
ok there is no chime alert at all i left lights on and nothing no ding ding with key in ignition either?
Mirror no compass or temp working ?
Also i hear an occasional knock under truck my feeling could be torsion bar ? and if so what would cause that?
i guess that should be enough for now Thank you

 

I'd take CRC contact cleaner to the rear switch fingers. The mirror, compass issue might also be related to being turned off. If you have an owners manual, confur with that. I have an 03 with the issue with temp/compass rearview, but cannot remember other than it was a setting

 

If the torsion bar is making the noise, check the bushings.

 

ok update i chime as to manual and at radio it comes up loud but nothing
any one hear of AVITAL remote start? just wondering if that has some thing to do with the chime alarm just a thought?

Say can some one give me an idea about the door ajar in cluster i have gone through these doors and can't find any thing ????

Hello you all update compass temp fixed got new one
as for door ajar i pretty sure need new door actuator for barn doors took this one out and just spins when you put dc to it i did check to see if it was getting dc when i press button and all good
But i can't seem to get a part number for this or find one on line these are pics Thanks

 

any one ? point me in direction to get part number to get one of these?

 

often GM will print the number right on the part. Did you look it over carefully?

 

went to dealer and was told you have to buy complete unit not just motor and cost was over 300
he would not give me part number so i will be leaving this alone
