No Sound
We have a brand new 2024 Tahoe LTZ and all sound will intermittently stop like the whole system is muted. Not even blinker noises. We took it back to the dealership they had it for a week and it is still doing it. Very frustrating for a vehicle that costs over 70k. Anyone have this problem and know how to correct?
I found your question looking for answers myself. All the sound in my brand new 2024 suburban turns off around the same time every day. I can’t figure out what it’s about or how to fix it but it eventually just starts working again another time that I enter the car. I called the dealer the first time it happened within days of picking up the car and they never returned my calls. I haven’t taken it in person because I just don’t have time for that.
Just bought my 2024 Tahoe RST... like 6 days ago. It had 2 miles on it. Sunday the sound completely stopped working. The screens still showed my music playing, incoming calls, FM radio playing but there was NO SOUND. Even the blinker wasn't making a noise. The only sounds that were produced were the typical start up beeps, seatbelt reminders and the safety beeping when you were parking, but that's it. I just got a call from the dealer that they are replacing a relay. Part will be in tomorrow. I guess they had to remove my 3rd row seats because they are giving me my car back today without a 3rd row and then I'll bring it back in tomorrow. Hoping this is a one-off issue. I still haven't removed the protective plastic from the screens and *****.

We had the same problem start a month after buying it. No sound from radio, regardless what the input was. Blinker sound doesn't work either. One time the sound was working and we wanted it off, but couldn't get it to turn off or even down. Power button didn't work, screen didn't work, somehow the steering wheel control is what finally did something. Things don't even come back on after restarting the car. VERY frustrating when you spend $70k+ on something brand new. Radios have been around over 100 years. Fancy computers are not always an upgrade. Have taken the car in a few times for updates and nothing has helped yet. Very annoying since we live an hour from a dealership.
